L4M1 Revision Guidance
L4M1 is a 3 hour essay-based exam, where you need to write four 25 mark essays in 3 hours. The pass mark is 50%, and I scored 87%, passing with a Distinction.
My notes for L4M1 were mostly hand-written, so rather than typing them up I've put together the thing that made the biggest difference to my score: a guide to exactly how marks are awarded.

These are the resources I found most useful when revising for L4M1:
- Profex textbook – the Scope and Influence of Procurement and Supply Study Pack. I'd recommend it because it distils the content well.
- Procurement Study Buddy – a video series covering the current syllabus.
- Sample answers on YouTube – useful for understanding the standard that's expected, along with this past exam analysis.
- The CIPS Procurement Cycle – make sure you know all 13 steps, as they come up again and again.
